Stuck in KTM

wat a saturday morning...woke up early in the morning to take ktm ride to sis's place...bro dropped me @ ktm subang..waited for 30 minutes before the train came...while waiting..i realise the culture here are really different..people can just sit there doing nothing...at least some little boys were listening to songs...when the train came, all of them rush into it as if it will go off without fetching anyone...in the train itself..those who were inside were just so stupid...can't they move a little so that others could squeeze in....those in the inner part were standing so relaxing...as others were cramping at the door...i was packed in between...it's so different from cityrail...wua wua wua...i miss cityrail!!!!!!!!!!!!! well anyhow, it took me 1.5hrs toreach kepong...aih...tired!!!!!!!!!!

Sydney - Day 17

Another lovely day in Sydney…feeling sad though cos I gonna depart back to my land tomorrow night…aih…gonna miss my lifestyle here so much…mainly being a housewife…not much work..just walk around and cook and do some laundry only..totally stress free..anyhow, updates for today..

A day out with honeybee…as promised, honeybee brought me to markets that I wanted to. Forst we went to balmain market…we took train till QVB then took a bus at york street towards balmain town..it’s kinda near though…we stop way too early at the bus stop..asking around for directions, we move forward to the church where the balmain market is..erm..kinda disappointed as I’ve expected much over there…nothing caught my attention…so we move forward to our next destination…we wanted to walk all the way towards the wharf but kinda far…so we took a bus to the Balmain East wharf. From there we went to circular quay and proceeded to the Paddington market which is half way of Watsons Bay..wow…this market seems to be bigger but things are so expensive there…even the 2nd hand items…I kinda like one ring..handmade by the handsome guy there…but it will cost me AUD 35…which is about RM80…so I give took a look at it and that’s it…I didn’t buy…clever ah…after Paddington…it’s kinda early still…therefore we decided to go for our favourite PORK RIBS @ Hurricane Bondi…what a disappointment…it’s CLOSED!!!! Ah!! We then ended up at Bondi Junction for shopping…erm..i bought a bag @ 50% discount…kekeke…oh ya..and we passed by a nail shop…we were peeping outside like idiots…hahha…kinda fun seeing the machine they were using and I was like…erm..can I do my acrylic nails?? Honeybee said up to me..but I dare not...anyhow…it’s around 3pm and we have nothing to do…honeybee asked if I would like to try our luck @ Hurricane Sydney Harbour?? I quickly nodded with my saliva dripping…haha..thinking of the lovely pork ribs…we went finally!! We were lucky enough that it’s open and it was kinda early that there were not much people..so we got our butts sitted and we ordered kinda few items…we have 4 starters and a main course!! Scary isn’t it…

Our starters:
1) garlic bread
2) garlic prawns (actually the waiter heard wrongly, we didn’t ordered, anyhow it was great)
3) mussels with garlic sauce & bread
4) fried calamari with rice
*all came in big portion
kinda full right?? Ya indeed…but we manage to handle it… and finally there goes our lovely HURRICANE PORK RIBS!!
Yummy yummy!!! I think this is the best food both of us ever had in OZ…besides my cooking la of course (self praising konon)
After dinner, we were so full that we decided to walk around before we called it a day…as this would be the last Saturday night for me to stay in Sydney…we ended up with some street shows before we went home…
Reaching home, I was so tired…I quickly took my bath and packed!! Oh no, I need to go back dee..after packing, I just lie on bed and fell asleep..thanks to my honeybee for everything..he helped me to clear up everything as I was hugging the laptop…haha…sounds silly…I was just too tired…

Sydney - Day 18

Well…the very last day for me to lepak in Sydney..so sad eh…”ng seh tak loo”..honeybee woke me up to go for breakfast…we went to Chinatown to eat dim sum (guai lou called it YAM CHA)…I should say the food so so only…but the thought of honeybee which counts…he ordered mango pudding for me too…muaks dear...after breakfast, we manage to drop by Haymarket again…to go for final round of souvenirs but I have got everything…and honeybee got me another 2 silicon covers for my phone…so lovely…another surprise from honeybee…he brought me all the way to bondi junction again to do the acrylic nails which I wanted yesterday,,keke…and finally I got my nails done…acrylic with French tip…muahhahaha…very nice and shiny oh..but honeybee said abit like patung wor…like those Barbie doll…I know I’m a BABI but I’m not a BARBIE..kekkeke…so many suprises in a day..after getting the nails done, we went to botanic garden again…honeybee said we missed ot a point where we can have marvellous view of Sydney opera house and the harbour bridge…so we both walked hand in hand under the hot sun to the point…it was indeed a nice point of view…more pictures to be uploaded…well happy time really flies…it’s time to go back to do final packing and I need to leave..we had our late lunch @ home...i packed my stuffs and honeybee helped me to transfer the pictures out…all I did was just hugging him and I was crying…
On the way to airport, I feel so sad…I think I miss him much and I miss Sydney very much…18 days in Sydney just passed like wind blow…1st thing once we reached airport was to check in…luckily not over weight..it was just 20.8kg..manage to spend another 30 minutes with honeybee before I went in to the terminal..both of us missed each others companion much that we keep sms each other…I know another 3 weeks I’ll be seeing him again but it’s just too long..but we both understand that we are strong enough to handle it…hugs bee…walking around the shops in the terminal…I manage to get myself some mini lipgloss from Clinique and of course my collection of soft toy…I got a pink koala…I’m gonna name it koalabee..
Oh my gosh…my flight were to transit @ Brisbane ler…1 hr flight from Sydney and I’m at Brisbane international airport…manage to walk around before my flight transit back to Kuala Lumpur…taking flight alone it’s not fun at all…no companion..so lonely…I miss honeybee much…by this time normally both of us should be sleeping dee…I just told myself to be strong…now on my plane back to Kuala Lumpur…I’m drafting this blog as I have no internet access..i was dozing off when I heard the air stewardess calling for meal time…I had lamb with mashed potatoes…yummy..kinda better than those that I have the 1st day…and I have my favourite Cadbury chocolate…the seats in boeing 777 are 2 by 5 by 2…I was seated at the aisle of the 5 seaters with an uncle…the rest of the 3 seats were empty…uncle occupied 3.5 seats ler…cos he lie down as if it was his bed…kanasai betul!!! Stupid chinapek…okla…time to go to bed…I shall stop here and continue tomorrow once I’m back @ home @ my lovely room…lots to do tomorrow before I start work again on Tuesday…hugs everyone…and of course flying kisses to honeybee whom is now far away from me…I love you bee….muakssss and good nightss…

Having meals alone in flight aren’t fun at all…luckily still got a small bar of chocolate to entertain me…

Reached KLIA at 5am..earlier than expected dee…came home at 6am..tried to take a nap but I couldn’t…somehow I still miss Sydney much…miss the lifestyle there…miss waking up early to make breakfast for my honeybee and continue sleeping…

Sydney - Day 16

Day 16 (20 Feb 09)
I’m feeling blue today though the weather is superb sunny and nice!! I think it’s because I’m going back soon and I gonna start work dee loo…aih…I’m gonna miss everything here…
Woke up @ 6.40am as usual make breakfast…wanted to continue sleeping after that but I just couldn’t sleep…so I woke up and browse for some information…then I went to Coles to stock up food for honeybee…manage to drop by the boutique to get the lovely blouse for sis…came home with all the food..i put them nicely in cabinet so that it’s easy for honeybee to access when I’m not here!! L sad….even packed meat into small packs for him ler…

Afternoon, we had kfc for lunch then we went to the botanical garden..oh my…it’s so big…1st I saw bees flying around the flowers there..must be sweet nectars eh…then we saw thousands of bats…which I think could be millions of them…sucks!!! After spending few hours there, we walked to opera house, managed to see the Queen Victoria cruise which stopped by since yesterday…it departed and I managed to capture while it sailed away…we then came home for dinner…a simple meal by me…

Sydney - Day 15

Another sunny day..yeah!! woke up @ 9.30am today…had breakfast, did laundry and posted pics to FB and blog. Planning to go out..very excited as summer is back…yeah~~!! Going to buy souvenirs later and meet honeybee in town..today is OZ pay day again…so fast the 3rd Pay Day of the month dee…not going to cook dinner tonight cos lazy piggy wanna go out!!

I went to Chinatown to buy souvenirs…yeah…all done…then met honeybee and we went to st mary’s cathedral to take some pics…feeling tired, we came home…then we went out again after honeybee took his bath n changed…we took a bus to manly…had dinner there and had a short walk…took bus back to chatswood and that’s another day..

Sydney - Day 14

Today, I feel that I’m becoming more lazy…but as I observed, over here, Monday till Wednesday are boring…things come alive only by Thursday…so today I planned to stay at home…will boil soup again…kekkeke…was planning activities for the last few days here in Sydney…not forgetting also souvenirs for all..

Update again @ night….wahahah…honeybee came back earlier…my soup is ready..therefore no need to jaga api..so we get to walk around @ Westfield before all the shops closed..bought myself some handicraft items..keke..we then came home and cook dinner…honeybee help out a lot…cos his darling was just being lazy…after our delicious dinner..we went to town to have a walk…walked around the rocks area…got marvellous pics of the sky…then we came home…

Sydney - Day 13

Gisshhh…another day has past…I dun wanna go back can ar??? Dun feel like working loo…wua wua…woke up today to make breakfast for my honeybee as usual..then went back to sleep…woke up again ard 9 plus and had my own breakfast…having cherries and yoghurt today…now thinking wat to eat for dinner…we have extra fried rice for lunch which I’ve prepared yesterday…dinner should be something simple if we plan to visit Olympic park…



Updates in the afternoon, went out to meet honeybee @ Lidcombe then we took train to Olympic Park..
thought it would be a nice place but ended up it was worse than Putrajaya…personally, I prefer Putrajaya more ler..anyhow, we spend some time there and came home..it was still early so we went Coles again as other shops are closed…as usual 5pm become dead place…hahahha…came home bing lazy, we had spagethi for dinner only..then both of us was busy online..doing own things…

Sydney - Day 12

Oh no..Monday again…another week in Sydney..im just starting to adapt myself to the life here…which I feel god bout it…too bad I’m going back soon…gonna start work dee..well updates for today..work up quite early…went to nearby Asian Market to buy porkbones, vege and taufu..since it was sunny, I decided to go to town….after doing laundry, I went out..walk around QVB to look for something for sis…couldn’t get…so went to Chinatown to get souvenirs..mana tau tak buka…aiya..walk so far ler…but over here ppl walk a lot…walk around market city then came back ard 3pm…knowing that honeybee would be coming back soon, I started boiling the soup…corn + carrot + pork bones…seems tasteless but the corns here are super sweet!! After dinner, honeybee asked if I wanna go out…so we went to Luna Park to take some pics then took ferry to darling harbour…took some shots also…I wasn’t in the mood cos I was freezing cold…kesian honeybee gotta carry both the heavy cameras as I was just holing the light tripod and chocolate on the other hand…kekeke

Sydney - Day 11

Waking up early on a lovely Sunday…honeybee’s turn to fry bacon for me…kekekkee…had some garlic bread as well..as promised, he brought me out to Taronga Zoo…I was so excited…so happily we went…I was just acting like a small little gal..cos I like zoo so much…took a ferry there and our zoo trip began…got the tickets and maps..seems very big oh…but kinda disappointed..the kangaroos are so cacat…even Singapore Zoo’s kangaroos are better…didn’t get to hug koala also…wuhuhuhu…and the stupid platypus area is under constructions!!! Anyhow, we kinda enjoyed as the weather was better though it rained…after zoo trip, we went to TEDS..was looking for camera bag but sold out dee…so we had a short walk around town and we went to Chinatown again!! bought some souvenirs and got vege from paddy’s market…deadtown again after 5pm…we came back and I cooked dinner…cooked mushroom and tomato pork...1st try but honeybee said nice wor…hahahha…then manage to lepak for 20 minutes @ Coles after dinner…came back with my usual routine…writing blog and online!!!

Sydney Day 10 (14 Feb 09)

Happy Valentines Day to all…a day full of LOVE!! Woke up very early on this day and had nice breakfast…bacon, luncheon meat, egg and maggi with vege!! Yummy right?? In such cooling weather…hhaha…then we went out to Watsons bay to capture the lighthouse which we missed that day…though weather isn’t that great, we did enjoyed…at bout 11, we went to Chinatown to get my phone’s silicon cover..cost me AUD8 ler..kinda expensive loo..think M’sia still cheaper…then we proceeded to Sydney Fish Market…wow…I got tonnes of photos for this….get it from http://picasaweb.google.com/jingnee1010 had lobsters and prawns for lunch…dunno what to do next, we went to darling harbour..it was raining whole day today…so we just stop by to see some street performance…it was so cold tat we ended sharing a cup of hot mocha in Starbucks…erm..i miss my M’sia Starbucks loo..cos I got RM2 discount ler…aiks…so boring weekend in Sydney especially when it’s raining…by 4plus..nothing dee…so went to Chinatown again…spend only 20 minutes there cos eevryone is closing shop…manage to get some cherries, a mango and some magnets…being tired of thinking where to go…we came home and cooked our own valentines dinner…nothing special but just home-cooked food filled with love…warm enough…kekeke…

Sydney Day 9 (13 Feb 09)

As usual, I woke up early to make breakfast for honeybee…today I’m not lazy…I didn’t sleep back after honeybee went to work. Instead, I did my report then start blogging and uploading pics...it was still raining outside…I went to mall before lunch to look for something… got it…but what the f**@#@#@ I just couldn’t get it done well…aargghhh!!! Waited for honeybee to come back for dinner, after dinner we went to coles for our normal grocery shopping… Well, tomorrow will be Valentines Day…wishing everyone a happy valentines day…it is not a day for lovers only. It’s a day for everyone we love and care. Therefore, here I’m sharing my love to everyone…

Sydney Day 8 (12 Feb 09)

Today, I went out alone around 10 plus after having bread as breakfast at home..took train to Wynyard then change to Circular Quay…from there, I took ferry to Manly at 11am…the ride was just marvellous…it was so windy that the ferry was shaking…I was freezing cold thought wearing my sweater…reached Manly at bout 11.30am…walk around on my own..went to the beach side and took some pics…this beach is mainly for surfers...syiok eh…after walking for sometime, I took out my phone…oh shit!! Got 6 missed calls from honeybee…I called him back…his class finished dee, so we decided to meet @ Circulay Quay…I took the ferry back…on the way back, I was able to capture the whole scene of Sydney Tower, CBD, Opera House and Harbour Bridge…after we had lunch at Mc D, honeybee brought me to Watsons bay…we took a bus ride…though kinda sleepy on bus, the surrounding view was nice…once we reached Watsons Bay…I could only say OH MY GOSH!!! It brought back my memories of 14 years ago…it’s somehow similar to the scene I’ve seen in Great Ocean Road…after a short walk through the cold breeze, we decided to go off as it started to rain…took a bus back to town…dunno where to go, I told honeybee I wanted to go to the Hay’s market…aiya..only vegetables and fruits ler!! Kanasai…on the way back, we had our early dinner at Hungry Jack’s…which is Burger King in Malaysia…keke…kinda tired but filled with fun…thanks honeybee…hugs…
